Guillermo Leon Signature Cigar Review
There is an adage that goes: “Who ever said Winning isn’t everything probably never won anything!”
I can tell you Guillermo Leon does not have that problem. His La Aurora 107 line have been rocking the Cigar bars recently and with the new size the Lancero that just came out you know I’ll be picking up some at the local B & M. BUT this review is not about the 107s, it’s about Guillermo Leon Signature line. Below is the Tale of the Tape:
Wrapper: Ecuadorian Habano
Binder: Cameroon and Dominican Corojo
Filler: Peruvian, Brazilian, Dominican, and Nicaraguan
Strength: Med-Full
Profile: Rich, bold, complex flavors
Sizes Available: Corona Gorda(6 x 47), Corona(5.5 x 42), Belicoso(6.25 x 52) and Gran Toro(6 x 60).
I was excited when Jason at Miami Cigars sent me 5 pack sampler and I wanted to make sure I devoted the necessary time to blog this properly.
The Corona Gorda(6 x 47) started with subtle sweet tobacco flavor which progressed into a light spicy pepper. Creamy and rich it had a relaxed draw with a wavy burn, thick smoke and good ash. Great price at approximate $8.50 compared to some of his higher priced competition. To sum up the new Signature Line it is a solid powerhouse smoke. Meaning if Guillermo Leon Signature Cigar was an MMA fighter I’d say it would be the Brock Lesnar of Cigars. Dont expect any fancy dancing around, its coming in and it’s going to knock you out! I got two more of these bad boys left and after that I’m hitting the local B & M for some more!
